About Ruidoso

There's skiing in the winter, horse racing in the summer and the Inn of the Mountain Gods (Mescalero Apache casino and golf course) just a mile or so out of town.

Ruidoso is small and has a picturesque little down town full of shops and restaurants.  Very old west/cowboy feel.  Billy the Kid's hideout is in the middle of downtown.
